One that flashed 4 times right outside my window, then rose, flashing in 4-flash dashes, repeating it once more as it crested the roof line, and was gone.
How coincidental that you posted this because while walking our dog, J and I saw 3 fireflies! I pointed them out, and said I was surprised to see them so early.
I saw two tonight as we were walking home from the movies. It brings back memories of visiting my uncle's house in Illinois on warm summer nights. *bliss*
Firefliees are like magic fairies to my heart. I wish we had them here. I'd see them in southern Missouri when I visited my Grandpa. Just thinking of them makes me smile.

Hurrah for fireflies! They're here in Brooklyn, too, out on the street, even, which I've never before seen.
I've never seen a firefly :( Hope to see at least one in my life, they sound like they belong in a fairy tale!

Ooo, they are magic. I live on the West Coast and we don't have them. I've only seen them once during a visit to Pennsylvania when I was 12.
