31>12

Today was so beautiful- clear blue sky, warm sun, the smell of warm earth.

My reassuring beta today? 31,907
Needless to say today was a much better day after I got the news.
Since 31>12, and because some of you are probably just about as curious as I am....

So, um, I am starting to think two at the moment. I know it may be one, but my dream way long ago there were two, and I feel as if it is two (unless I am freaking out and all is lost), so while this number today prompted me to say holy shit to the nice nurse who called, I am also oddly peaceful.

I was thinking two back when you got the first beta. But more importantly, I'm so happy it's rising beautifully and you're in a good place. Stay calm and grounded, and hang on till your 7 week ultrasound when all will be revealed!

Fabulous news! Wow so happy and so in awe for you. (And uh, yeah, kinda suspicious about two.....)

Holy Cannoli!!! I was waiting for your post today. Hot damn! I'm so excited. And you are indeed "off the chart." Wow. Such happy relief!

Yowie! Beautiful number, and hopefully it will tide you over until u/s day.

I've been thinking twins based on your numbers too. They seem right in line with twins -- though betas aren't totally predictive. I obsessively compared my betas to the singleton, twin, and even triplet norms. I was way above even the triplet numbers but ended up with 'only' two.

Yippee for you!

Twins.. yay :-)

Oh, that is SO two. :)

And, wow, that number is just beyond reassuring and into happyhappyhappy!

Smiling hard for you over here.

well, your numbers are very close to my numbers at the same times and so my edumakated guess is... twins!
Welcome!!
Great book: What to expect when your expecting twins, triplets ...

It goes through the normal stages of coming to terms with 2. Then it has amazing advice about health and food and managing doctors etc.

So happy for you Kate. What a wonder of blessings...

I am giddy with more of your wonderful news. The betas look great and two are definitely on the radar, numberwise. I'm so looking forward to your 7th week u/s so I can whoop and cheer and cry with joy some more.

Holy beautiful beta, Batman! That's one awesome off-the-chart chart.

Have you figured out your doubling time on www.betabase.info? Looks like your first 2 was in the 37 hour range, which is amazing. That's if you had your appointments at more or less the same time. I was guessing... hope you don't mind, but I'm crazy excited over here. :)

(Mine was 32hrs with the triplets between 14dpo and 16dpo and then 40 hrs between 16dpo and 23dpo. As you know, it slows as it gets higher...)

I second Eb's suggestion re: Dr Luke's book. It's a great resource.

Wowwee! I know they always say that you can't tell number of babies with betas, but if there's not 2 in there, I'm gonna be really surprised! Congrats on another uber-reassuring beta, I hope it'll tide you over til u/s!

Wow- and on top of that, the nicest stretch of weather since early December. It feels like the stars are aligning at last, and all is right with the world. Just one more week until the u/s. I'm not placing any bets or guesses on how many you're cooking, but WOW- things are looking so good!I'm beyond thrilled for you (and Doug and your little sprout(s)), Kate!!

You are not freaking out - you are definately preggo! And sounds like two to me - not that I have any expertise. I'm so happy this is finally working for you, take care.

I had intended to comment on how I thought there might be two in there...but I hesitated. Those numbers are outstanding.
